Stuart McKeon - Cancer Education Programme Manager
I previously worked at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital as a newly qualified Nurse, then progressed to become their Lead Nurse for the Clinical Assistant Workforce. I never thought I would have trained in nursing - at school I flirted between training as a chef or becoming a languages teacher. However, I definitely found the right path for me. I am passionate about delivering excellence through educational innovation, with patient care at the heart of this.
Hayley Unwin - Cancer Education Programme Facilitator
I graduated as a physio back in 2006, and completed my postgraduate training in cancer rehabilitation in 2017, specialising in that area ever since. I am passionate about improving patient experiences on the cancer pathway and believe that begins with educating and empowering the staff who deliver the care, hence I began running a Macmillan programme to do just that in 2022.
Amelia Ling - Cancer Education Programme Facilitator
I am a registered adult nurse and have been working in cancer my whole career, specialising in cancer treatments called SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapies), given to outpatients in a day unit. One of my nursing passions is IV access and line care to ensure treatment can be given safely. My passion in education developed over the years and I really enjoy empowering staff to make the lives of cancer patients easier.
