Looking after your wellbeing
We recognise that working in cancer care can be deeply meaningful but also emotionally demanding. To deliver exceptional patient care, healthcare professionals need to look after their own health and wellbeing.
On this page, you will find confidential resources and wellbeing hubs designed to support you and your colleagues. You can also reach out to your local health and wellbeing, HR or occupational health teams to find out what support is available to you locally.
NHS staff mental health and wellbeing support
If you need someone to talk to, the NHS has a confidential text support service available 24/7 for all NHS colleagues. Access it by texting SHOUT to 85258.
You can also find a range of free wellbeing apps and information here: Support available for our NHS people
