The government has launched its 10 Year Health Plan for England: fit for the future.
The plan is built around three major `shifts' – from hospital to community, from analogue to digital and from treatment to prevention.
The key cancer ambitions include:
• Diagnosing 75% of cancers at stage 1 or 2 by 2028
• Expanding the screening programmes (including lung health checks)
• Faster access to care
• Roll-out of digital & AI-driven cancer services
• Training and support for those in cancer roles
• More access to genomic targeting and personalised treatment
The plan also commits to transform the NHS App to become the front door to the NHS, which will be used to organise care around patient needs, choices and schedules.

To support the launch, the NHS Chief Executive has written an open letter to all NHS staff. Rad it here: https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/fit-for-the-future-10-year-health-plan-for-england-open-letter-to-staff/
