The Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance in conjunction with the Primary Care Nurse Facillitators from NHS Sussex, are pleased to be offering an education day for our patient-facing, supportive and assistive workforce (Cancer Support Workers, Cancer Navigators and Cancer Coordinators) in primary and secondary care.
Highlights of the day include; exploring job roles, myth busting and discussion and problem-solving common challenges faced.
The study day will cover themes such as holistic needs assessments, end of treatment summaries and cancer care reviews and will empower staff to link primary and secondary care roles, hone communication skills and work together collaboratively to improve patient care.
