Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month
Event date and time: 1 February 2024 to 29 February 2024
February is Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month. In the UK, around 9,000 people are diagnosed with oesophageal cancer each year (Macmillan Cancer Support).
It affects men more often than women, with almost 7 out 10 cases being male and it is particularly common among white males (Guts UK).
Gateway C has an oesophageal cancer course looking at signs and symptoms for primary care. Find it here: Oesophageal Cancer - GatewayC
